Refund Policy

This policy explains the refund conditions and procedures for Vecstruct services.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all paid items on the Vecstruct platform, including subscription plan fees, Balance top-ups, and Credit packs.

2. Nature of Digital Services

Vecstruct is an online digital service platform. In accordance with Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and Article 2 of the Executive Yuan's "Regulations on Reasonable Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal in Distance Transactions," the Service qualifies as "digital content not provided on a tangible medium" or "online services that are fully performed upon provision." After your acknowledgment and consent, the seven-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) under Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Act does not apply.

Nevertheless, the Company provides the following reasonable refund mechanisms to protect your consumer rights.

3. Subscription Plan Refunds

New subscribers: If you request a refund within seven (7) days of your first paid subscription, and your Credits usage during that period did not exceed 10% of the plan's monthly allocation, the Company will issue a full refund of that subscription fee.

Renewal subscribers: For auto-renewed subscription fees, if you request a refund within seven (7) days of the charge and have barely used the service during that period, a full refund may be issued.

Plan downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle; subscription fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable. For annual plans cancelled early, unused full months may be refunded on a prorated basis.

4. Balance Refunds

After topping up your Balance, unused Balance may be refunded upon request. The refund amount equals the remaining Balance minus any consumed token fees.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Any processing fees incurred will be borne by the applicant.

5. Credit Pack Refunds

Purchased Credit packs may be fully refunded within fourteen (14) days of purchase if no Credits have been used.

Partially used Credit packs are non-refundable, except in cases of erroneous deductions due to system errors.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds do not apply in the following situations:

  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of the Terms of Service.
  • Fully consumed Credits or Balance.
  • Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund period.
  • Credits granted through promotional offers or services during free trial periods.
  • Cost differences resulting from pricing changes by third-party AI model providers.

7. Refund Process & Timeline

To request a refund: Please submit your refund request via email to [email protected], including your account information and reason for the refund.

Processing timeline: The Company will review and respond within five (5) business days of receiving the request. Once approved, the refund will be issued within seven to fourteen (7-14) business days via the original payment method.

Refunds are denominated in USD via the original payment method.

8. Service Disruption Compensation

If a system failure caused by the Company results in a service disruption exceeding twenty-four (24) consecutive hours, affected paid users may request the following compensation:

  • Subscription plans: Prorated extension of the subscription period based on the number of disrupted days.
  • Credits: Reissuance of a reasonable amount of Credits that were unusable during the disruption period.
  • For disruptions causing significant losses, partial refunds may be requested and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
